Summer is over-

It is officially the end of summer with school starting Thursday/yesterday. I can't believe another summer has come and gone. Cortlynn is in 4th grade and was so excited to go back to school to see her friends and her teacher. She has wanted this teacher for years and was fortunate enough to get her. I took her to school the first day to make sure the teacher was aware Cortlynn was deaf in one ear and that she needs to sit near the front of the class. The teacher was excited by it because she has a hearing issue too and she is a very loud person; than she turned to Cortlynn and gave her a high five. A little awkward, but everyone seems happy.
I've attached a few photos of our summer and also the first day of school-enjoy.

Cortlynn's sign for our "baseball evening" nice appropriate sign for a 9 year old don't you think?? ;-) The ball player in the middle is the one we were there to admire. Cortlynn thought he was pretty cute and was shy to have her picture taken with him. Those are the 2 DJ's that hosted the event and made the posters.
