Head "boo boo" and a little craftiness

Kyra has fallen off things and hurt herself before but today was the first "head" injury that involved blood. Poor little girl fell and hit the corner of a toy box.

I'm amazed that she hasn't had more injuries because she is constantly climbing on something. Yesterday she wanted to be in the baby swing so she climbed up into it and began to swing. I had to stop her because she was swinging sooo high I was afraid she was going to tip it over. The smile she had on her face was priceless. She is such a cutie.

My children are so funny. The other day Tristan put his hat over his face and placed his glasses over it and than told me that he was a criminal. Too cute.

Kyra is my little eater and LOVES to feed herself. She was eating Mac and Cheese and had it everywhere. It wasn't bath night but that changed. I also gave her a bath in the big tub for the first time. She is so small that the sink has been her bathtub for the last 13 months. Kyra was scared at first, but once she sat down and was able to play with a few toys and her brother--getting her out of the bath was a nightmare. She really enjoyed it.

I'm going to give myself a pat on the back for the crafts I've completed in the last few weeks. I'm not a huge craft person---but I thought they turned out really well.

I cut a couple of Cortlynn's dance t-shirts and than weaved them for a different look. She loves wearing them to Jazz and for warm-ups during her ballet classes. The other girls in the class were shocked that Cortlynn's mom knows how to do these shirts. I don't know what Cortlynn was doing in this photo--being goofy I guess. The red shirt is the back and the white is shown in the front.

I found a few pairs of big girl socks that I turned into baby leg warmers. Kyra's little chubby thighs are adorable in these lip/zebra print socks.
