Copellia, Recitals, Last Day of School 2014

It sure has been a busy month.  Both Cortlynn and Tristan were in the ballet Copellia and did such a wonderful job.  They must get their dance talent from me.   Once Copellia was over, they finished up work on their recital pieces.  Cortlynn danced in 3 numbers and Tristan danced in 1.  I just can't get over how beautiful both children did.  Tristan smiled the entire time and is quite upset that he doesn't go back to class until September.  Cortlynn has a couple of weeks off before her 3 week (5 days 5+hrs a day) summer intensive program and her final performance. 

 Brynlee loved Cortlynn's sparkly jazz costume.  She actually wore a silver one since she had a solo and ended up being the "focus" of the dance.  I unfortunately didn't get a photo of her in that dress.  oops.

Kyra had to get her ballet shoes on and dance with her brother.

 Tristan and I participated in the 100 mile club at school this year.  The two of us would walk after school and at special family nights; trying to get to our goal of 100 miles.  By the end of the year-Tristan had 83 miles and I ended with 102.  (parents could walk at anytime.  The kids could only walk at a school function)  The photo below is Tristan at the awards ceremony.
